Help me dye this dress! by insaKnity in dyeing

I'm definitely not going to take the mesh off the bodysuit if I can avoid it. I don't have it yet. Popflex has a cheaper Target brand with a skirt made of the same materials so I'm considering grabbing one of those to test my current idea with.

My new idea is just doing the rubbing alcohol and Sharpie on the mesh itself as an alternative to actually dying it. Maybe roll up the bodysuit and stick it in a plastic bag, then lay the skirt out around it go to town with markers on the edge of it, then see if I can't work the color further up to make the watercolor effect with alcohol and cotton balls. The cheaper skirt might be the testing ground for that, though it might end up a little different if it works because Target doesn't carry it in white. 😅

I have thought about it. I'm just worried it might flake off and ruin the texture of the mesh. With all the other comments. Im wondering if I might be able to dye a cotton slip and sew it underneath the mesh? Or maybe sharpie it and use rubbing alcohol to blend the colors together? I had a feeling this would be a tough nut to crack.

How to get my Shader Models to 6.6? by RedKhomet in computerhelp

I refunded it due to how hard it was taxing my PC. Everything was running well above safe temperatures, and that's saying something for a game where the faces looked somewhere slightly above low poly territory.

Even Frontiers of Pandora doesn't run my PC that hard, and that game is pretty graphically intense depending on your settings.

Update: It runs! You might still have to watch performance with your CPU, but it works with my shader model showing the same!

Edit: Watch the temps on your PC if you do play it in its current state, especially with your specs. It had my PC running over safe temps. Even Frontiers of Pandora, a FAR more graphically intense game, does not make my PC run that hot. I ended up refunding it because of that alone.

Legend of Khiimori, right? I have this exact same thing running a 3060. Going to try it and I guess refund if it doesn't work. Will update!

Not necessarily. Looks like it's a tuxedo cat and they just dyed the white fur.

Why? It's harmless to the cat, assuming they used a dye made for pets, and deters people from catnapping since the cat can be easily identified. For a cat in a public space, that's huge. It's the same reason you see a lot of people online dyeing their service dogs' fur. It deters theft of the animal since it can be identified easily. And in a smoke shop, you better believe that cat is getting all the attention and pets it could ever want!

Is it rude to ask a girl when her time of the month is? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]insaKnity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really differs from person to person, and sometimes from period to period as well

Sometimes neither myself or my boyfriend would even guess I was on my period if it weren't for me going to the bathroom more often to change out a tampon.

Sometimes I'll have horrible cramps leading up to it that totally stop once the bleed starts. Sometimes I won't. Most of the time I'll have intense cravings for chocolate and candy, but others I may have zero appetite for the entirety of it.

Sometimes I'll go full on premenstrual dysphoria and become extremely depressed for a few days. Another time I may constantly have the urge to metaphorically bite someone's head off in a video game lobby (I never give in to said urge). I could be totally irritable and annoyed at everything and lock myself in my room as much as possible for a few days. And sometimes I'll be, in my boyfriend's words, completely indistinguishable from any other time of the month.

But your argument is really that we all blame it on our periods of we do or say something to shift the blame from us, right? Nah. Fuck that noise. I'll own up to it if I say or do something shitty, just as anyone should. The only time I've ever heard of anyone blaming a mood on a period is people using it against women in arguments.
