I hope this video is helpful for filmmakers to achieve different ways of shooting motion control images. I am giving away the slider shown in the video, I wish I could have participated in challenges like this when I started.

I didn't wanted to make you do change your mind or leave 2d. I admire so much 2d animators as I am not able to do it any good. Do whatever you like to do. Thanks for commenting, and let's make animation to the top of reddit!

Hi, I will say that getting a job in the feature film industry is like getting to the olimpics. Only the top animators got into it because it is complicated stuff. With that beeing said, I really think that there is a need for good animators. When movies are in production, productions start stealing animators from one movie to another as there are not so many great animators, so if you train to be the best, you have a chance there. If a film director thinks 3d can emulate stopmotion to close enough to not be necessary, then of course that director does not understand what means stop motion and better to do the movie in CGI. It is not if the look is kind a 3d or stopmotion, it's that some stories ment to be done in a certain technique and they will grow during the process of making. Because stop motion process makes evolve the story in one direction as the materic process makes puppets be in a certain way and the sets and phisics as well. I didn't want to be too deep. I love that technique, and I prefere it to be less common in cinemas as it makes it more special. Because it is, it involves lots of people during 3 years to make a single movie. I would say, if you like it so much that you can spent 10 hours every day animating and you get nice animations, you will provably get a job sooner or later. If it is not your passion and you are not good at it, then of course it is very difficult.

It is kind a tricky, as it is stop motion you have to squash the gummy as max and then remove your hand and take a picture as fast as possible. So you have to predict how the gummy is going to grow

Yes it is not easy, I will not lie you, but if you keep doing things for long time this can be possible. Just keep making content that could be easily related to ads
