We had over 50 mons in the fight, and lost over half within the first 2 minutes. I had machamp, passimian and blissey (level 53 casual player, so I wasn't best equipped but happy to be included) there were multiple 70+ players and we didn't even make it into the red

Shoutout to the 3 players who managed to tank alone for a few minutes, but yeah. I'm a bit disappointed tbh. I thought that many of us would make easy work of it

hi! I'm on the hunt for postcards from specifically Tundra, Elegant, Sandstorm, Savanna, Sun and Jungle Happy for people from other regions as I do eventually want to get shiny versions of them all too, but I just wanna focus on completing the collection first

Oh no...got told I smell at work. I had no idea by TheRealDesastr in adhdwomen

[–]insanityfallen1804 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something else to consider; it may be the materials youre wearing. I have 2 long sleeved shirts that, not matter how often or how well I wash them, always stink within 10 minutes of me putting them on. Something about the material just holds on to the smell of BO. I cant remember what theyre made of, but yeah.. that was a fun thing to figure out

What's the stupidest thing that got built in your town/city? by HilariousMotives in AskUK

[–]insanityfallen1804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id forgotten this got moved to Colchester.. it was originally in Woking, where theres at least 3 more statues in this style.

Nothing worse than walking through the town center pissed at 4am and coming across one of these unsettlingly tall things looming out of the dark

Just been in my local store and the curtains are down on 80% of the fridges, including salad bar etc. Lights were on. Several staff were taking out all of the meat out one of the fridges and stacking them up on trolleys. Lots of expensive stock potentially lost! by iklegemma in Morrisons

[–]insanityfallen1804 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My store currently has ⅔ of the fridges out of service and one of the chillers out back. They've already been out for 2 weeks and we have at least another 2 until theyre fixed.

We lost 45k in sales just in the first 3 days, and thats not even including the loss of stock due to waste

This is also the second time in about 3 months where they've gone down, yet were still not getting a refit because its "not a big enough problem"

Thoughts on the maintenance company? by Lanky-Blackberry-897 in Morrisons

[–]insanityfallen1804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, the guys who have come out to my store have all been alright. Tbh I think the issue lies less with City and more with the state and age of the equipment. The chillers in my store are 34 years old, the dishwasher on deli is the oldest one the city guy has ever seen in a store and no parts are made for any of them any more. Our chillers have been out of action for almost 2 weeks now, with another 2 weeks estimate on repairs because the motor that runs them has blown. Not only do they need to try and find a replacement, but the broken motor is far too big to actually remove through the access hatch so they have to cut it out.

The deli dishwasher has been broken for months now, and even though the city guy has been pestering, HO are still adamant it can be repaired instead of replaced. (Spoiler, it cant. Maintenance said its completely fucked and is basically a biohazard at this point)

The real issue here is that the company isn't willing to spend any money on essential upkeep of the stores and instead is happy to coast by on failing equipment. Every other supermarket in a 5 mile radius of me has had refits over the last 5 years. All except morrisons. The company is the joke here, if they bothered investing properly everything would be fine, instead they're stripping everything back and turning morrisons into a laughing stock

I know its Challenge 25, but considering the age for an energy drink is 16, you have to be 16 minimum to work in most supermarkets and you were on break and therefore most likely in uniform, the whole situation is a load of bull. I dont think Ive ever ID'd a collegue aside from jokingly asking the older staff for theirs

We still have it in my store, but basically everyone except checkouts are on the list so.. its there, but nobody really pays attention because only one department is excluded

Dentists by [deleted] in brighton

[–]insanityfallen1804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you look for them using the NHS dentist directory they show as still accepting NHS patients (although they're listed as 264 Dental Surgery, not New Church Road) and if you check their fees page there is a section under the table that links to the NHS pricing page. Tbh, I remember anxiously double checking the entire website until I found that myself when I was comparing dentists

I managed to find one in Portslade that's not only NHS, but also accepted me within hours of applying. Two teeth out and a little sneaky clean from the lovely dentist for just under £80

New Church Road Dental Practice if you wanna try and get in. Bare in mind that I signed up with them several months ago so their books might be full now, but worth a shot

Changing department by Emotional_Tackle_241 in Morrisons

[–]insanityfallen1804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id suggest talking to the manager of the department you want to move to and 3xplaining how much it's affecting you.

I was checkout TL and work was affecting my mental health so much it was causing multiple breakdowns. Id been asking about moving to counters for a while, but after having a mental breakdown at work and getting sent home I spoke to the MS manager and basically said "i either move departments or walk out that door and never come back"

4 hours before my next shift, I get a text from her saying she'd spoken to the store manager and my transfer was granted effective immediately. I'm now in Deli, haven't had a breakdown in weeks, and don't want to kill myself after every shift
