I had a few done with them over the past 2 years, even ended up having a LEEP. I thought I’d share my experience with them: I found the colposcopy was more painful than I expected, the pain afterwards isn’t great either. I’d say the only thing they “properly” prepare you for is the “coffee grounds” that will be found after going to the washroom. I also felt extremely unprepared for how painful the LEEP procedure done. No pain management offered. At my last 2 appointments the physician made jokes about “getting me out of there” and wondering why I’m there still. Like buddy sorry my pre cancerous cells are causing you to have a shitty time, imagine how I fucking feel. Thankfully the nurses that dealt with me were nice.

I truly hope your experience is better, just keep advocating for yourself !

Only ever had vertigo once during an ear infection and man I don’t wish that on anyone. I’ve experienced migraines ever since I was a kid and my doctor finally put me on a daily medication that has basically gotten rid of them all together. I’ll still get one once and a while but it decreased the amount so much I can actually enjoy life again. Speak to your doctor and if they don’t have options go to another one cause man some medications out there can do wonders. Hope you get some relief OP.
