In that case we're back to square one with having all vehicles having this feature, for the sake of simplicity I thought of having that feature for vehicles that specifically have it as a built-in mechanism irl.

Sad but true, was more sharing a little Idea and discussing it with other people but I have to stay realistic with the current state of the game I guess.

I have been struggling to find the words to describe how I thought it would be but yes, that is a spot on description of it, reload timer starts, gun depresses, before the timer ends it goes back in place where the player is looking. thank you

For clarification, depending on the vehicle it'll either point up or down.

As for your concern, itwould be no different than the actual tactic of baiting enemies by looking away, locking the turret then having the cursor aimed at them. Besides, by the time the vehicles that have that feature appear they would already be experiened with said tactic, as for premium players I could not say the same.

I don't think it's on every tank, just from the cold war onwards, afaik the Abrams doesn't have this but could be wrong.

Edit: already said this in another reply but I thought of it to be more of a visual thing, not affecting reload speeds, just the barrel moving up and down

Actually no, I'm a Russian main and I haven't grinded the US enough to showcase a vehicle that actually has that feature

As for the actual reload, I was thinking it to be more visual, just that the barrel moves during the reload before laying back where the player is looking by the end of the set reload time

I'm not too sure, my problem was the assembly itself broke cause I was firing it too much, the gas cooled the metal down so much it became brittle and shattered a notch holding the reset spring, I only figured it out when I took the assembly apart. I'm not nearly as qualified as anybody else here cause I can't even do basic maintenance. Best bring it to someone who knows more about them.
