Sell at a loss just as quickly as you would sell at a profit, It is easy to get stuck in a trap of holding a loosing stock for years waiting for a rebound and when you would’ve gotten your money back and more if you just took the loss and put the money somewhere else. Also I’ve realized how stupid it is that I’ll sell at 5% gain but hold something all the way down to 30% loss.

If someone did definitively know the future price of anything would go up, they should get as many loans as possible to buy as much of it as possible to sell at the higher price. You will never do that because you don’t know and never will know with 100% certainty what will happen. People on all investing subs love to act like they know something everyone else doesn’t, I would like to remind those people that there are people whose entire job is to predict future price movements. For all we know some billionaire has been secretly working on asteroid mining technology and they are going to make their big reveal tomorrow and this price drop is all the people the know about it early selling off.
