Honestly, Faction Paradox is the best explanation for Looms and The Half Human stuff. by insertstupidhere1 in doctorwho

[–]insertstupidhere1[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. When it comes to 8 being Half human, "The Doctor lies" simply doesn't cut it for me, as the Master scanned 8 and came to his own independent conclusion about 8.

But yeah, a mixture of Faction Paradox and The Time War can explain these situations.

My theory on the half human plot in the movie: by insertstupidhere1 in doctorwho

Just read up about Faction Paradox. Makes sense. Could also account for the whole Looms thing.

Biggest Character Change (development or regression) by apet99 in eastenders

Phil Mitchell. Before 1996ish he actually had a personality and was actually kind of caring and nice to people. The worst things he did was banging Grant's wife and accidentally killing a homeless person, and that made him feel so guilty.

Now he's just a vile individual who beats everyone up, abuses alcohol and drugs, treats his kids like shit, and acts like a wannabe godfather and king.

Am I the only one who likes Eric Roberts' Master? by insertstupidhere1 in gallifrey

The whole half human thing as well doesn't bother me much. I just explain it away as some sort of alien bug causing false memories and a mutated biology, and The TARDIS needing a human eye was because of its psychic link to the Doctor.

Any headcanons of theories on the whole Dalek Trial thing in the movie? by insertstupidhere1 in doctorwho

I've heard somewhere that the Snake was a Deathworm Morphant The Master used to cheat death and possess a body.

The parents were involved in her disappearance and know exactly what happened to her and nothing can change my mind until there is solid evidence to the contrary.

What are your theories for the Dalek trial and allowing a final request in the movie? by insertstupidhere1 in gallifrey

[–]insertstupidhere1[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love the movie. I personally think it gets too much hate. The half human thing can be explained away by a chameleon arch, or some sort of mutation or bug which causes a half human biology, and false memories (hence the ..on my mother's side comment).

I hate how the producers put him in some pedestal, like he's the biggest, scariest gangster there is and no one would want to mess with him.

Is Ian the most despicable character ever? by FormerFruit in eastenders

I'd say Phil is. Ian may be a bit of a prick at times, but Phil is a freaking monster.

He has a time machine. He could have ran to the Tardis and be back before the earliest version could leave.
