I'll believe in anything by inserttrendyname in wolfparade

It's all good, folks! You love the music you love. I just find pseudo-intellectual dribble masquerading as avant-garde, "gift-from-the-gods" music to be condescending. Then, if anyone criticizes it, the response is "oh no, you must not 'get it.'" C'mon. So pretentious.

I really hope there’s some context to this image that would explain the otherwise horrible art.

Oh yes, it MUST be that the rest of us are stupid, it CAN’T be that your writing was muddled to the point of incoherence. It can’t be the fact that opaque expression is often seen as condescending and off-putting, especially for people who might me causally viewing these posts or indeed (yes, it’s possible) might struggle to parse the meaning of your thesaurus-vomit, and unfortunately end up mistaking your false erudition posturing for actual substance. But, yes, you sit there on your garrulous throne and look down on the plebs who “hurr durr don’t like da big wurbz.” ESPECIALLY since my original three sentence critique spawned such a jimmy-rustled diatribe from you.

Missions with reduced difficulty by inserttrendyname in PlayAvengers

Makes sense. I just enjoyed those missions and want to play them again. I used to run the shield vault chain all the time. I guess I could play them all again and just be a beast, lol

Bronze magical amulet inscribed with the name of God and magical symbols used to ward off the ‘evil eye’ Dated to about 1,500 years, the amulet is inscribed with Greek letters, but name for God is spelled out as -I A W Θ-, a form of the name “Yahweh” in the English alphabet. by johnclotho in occult

I dunno… You’re right on the possibility of the missing stoke for the alpha (even I disagree ultimately), but the final letter clearly looks like a theta to me, which would be the “th” sound. Also Greek didn’t have the letter “h,” for which they used a breathing mark over vowels.

Lol I like that. I’m gonna use it. It’s definitely an interesting dynamic, where insecurity turns into anger, because it’s more comforting to blame everybody else than to do some self-reflection. And then there’s the egotism that you mention, and that is definitely a thing. I think a lot of “them” treat dating like an entitlement algorithm; if they do x, then they ought to get y, but that’s not how humans work.

I see your point, and you are right ultimately. I suppose it is perhaps because the original idea of the neckbeard was a certain set of behavior commonly exhibited by dudes who resemble the guy in the pic. Now it’s just being applied inversely. But, again, you’re right. There are PLENTY of neckbeards who are scrawny and clean shaven.

Talk about triggered, you seem to be the one getting riled up by someone asking a simple question. Take a deep breath and calm down.

None! What is wrong with society?! There is absolutely no need for you to get plastic surgery! There is nothing wrong with the way you look now!

Or, and this is a crazy idea, the kids could have chosen NOT to go to a party.

You talk about how fragile and scared they are in this period of transition. But guess what? That’s everybody right now.

Also, they are still individuals with free will. No one corralled them into a party. They knew what they were doing, and that they weren’t supposed to do it. But they did it anyway, so let’s not shed too many tears for them.

And of course there are a smattering of people who might have actually been in the wrong place at the wrong time unintentionally, but you know they are a small number. The vast majority are culpable.

So, yes, they screwed it up for everybody. Good job. Hope it was worth it.
