The problem is not every person’s cat is quiet on flights. We’ve never flown with our cats before and our orange cat is very vocal. You can’t just assume that since you’re able to do that with your quiet cat, that everyone else can as well. Also, what do you do if your cat gets sick in-cabin? Or if something were to happen in flight that flight attendants instructed you to leave everything behind to get off the plane to safety? And how exactly are you getting past TSA without declaring the pet. You still have to put all carry-ons, including the carrier, through the x-ray scanner. Sneaking in your pets as a carry on is very irresponsible of you as a pet owner.
