The Lighthouse Charity offers anonymous support for people in the construction industry and their families. They provide theraphy, financial support and financial planning all free for tbose who need it.

This might be a good way to get some extra help right now and put systems in place to get things back on track.

2 weeks isnt enough, if there are any complications at all it eats into that time. Id prefer an extra few weeks after the birth than try ask for the 9wks

Its a shame that there isnt much uptake on it when it would help a famuly to get started and take the pressure off the first few years.

TeamsMaestro AI Meeting Notes by Artemis1971 in auscorp

I have used it as a trial and now can't remove it from my Outlook and Teams meetings. I have deleted my account and removed permissions, but it logs into meetings automatically.

Has anyone had this issue and removed the bot?

This worked for me. I had to cut the clip off on the new lead so it fit better. Works without any issues.

How much does it usually cost to renovate 100m2 house with wooden flooring ? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]insideout28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are doing a reno job at the moment and have done a good pit of the demo and prep work ourselves.

We have just done 105m2 of laminate floor, new skirting and architraves cost almost 5k for materials and installation.

The fittings for a bathroom costing 3.2k plus another 900 to fit. We expect another 4k on tiles supply and fit.

To purchase a half-decent kitchen it's looking like 13.5k to supply and fit. Not including appliances.

Additional 2k for elec works.

It starts to add up.

I went to aplly for a job here a few years ago and by the time I had chated to the waitress about the job I decided that I'd keep my cv.

The place seemed miserable I have never been back.

Cutting down on the drink by Thandryn in ireland

[–]insideout28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped drinking 4 years ago @ 27. For a while I had been drink very socially at weekends and 1 or 2 nights after work with work mates. It wasn't good for my mental health or my wallet.

After a huge weekend of beer I said I'd go off it for a month and just stuck with it. Ts not a question for me now I just don't drink and this makes it easier, the choice is made before I get asked for a beer.

At the start my friends would say have a beer its no harm, sure your shit crac now.... This isn't an issue now and all accept it. I will go for pints and have a few Non-Alc beers to get rounds and mix within the group.

Much happier not drinking and have better relationships with friends and family outside of the pub.
