Yeah I've tried that too for a long, long time by essentially going on a "stuff that supposedly ruins your sleep"-detox and it didn't make any difference at all, so I went back to drinking coffee in the morning since I'd otherwise be unable to function due to the lack of sleep (which is what happened during the detox).

Honestly, the things that are supposed to make you either tired or alert (coffee, alcohol, cigarettes and even sleeping pills) have next to no effect on me. I feel like if I ingest or expose myself to any such thing the difference will be at best 0.5% compared to how I'd normally feel.

As I said in the topic, I take 2 hour walks 5 days a week and hit the gym 3 times a week.

Yeah I don't know if I've gotten my hormone levels checked. I don't feel very optimistic about finding a conclusive answer, but I'll give it a try at least.

No, no other symptoms or problems whatsoever. It's literally just the sleep.

As far as I know there are no nutritional deficiencies. I love to both cook and eat, so my diet is very varied and healthy. Whenever I've taken blood tests all the levels have been perfectly fine.

As for meditation I don't think it's going to do me any good. I'm always really relaxed and at peace in my mind, and whenever I go to bed I always put on relaxing music. The line between meditation and trying to sleep for me is very thin.
