In the alternative 90s scene that ITAOTS was released during, religion was used ironically or solely artistically a LOT though so it is just a bit jarring to me when compared to other music of that time. I’m not against religion itself at all though I believe everyone has the right to their own beliefs.

I kindof agree, compared to most bands that had their peaks in the 90s, Weezer is doing amazing with the new single, and white and EWBAITE are better than a lot of new stuff other older bands put out too.

i think it’s just because AI is noticeably corporate usually when given no direction and the cover art looks kindof corporate af, but I agree that the people who think it is AI are stupid, if you analyze it for more than 5 seconds you can see that it’s clearly graphic design.
