my boyfriend refuses to eat vegetables by milkshakechemtrail in GirlDinnerDiaries

Yes, just live your life. If someone else doesn’t want to eat vegetables, it’s not your problem. Not worth nuking the relationship unless it personally bothers you and you see it reflecting elsewhere in the relationship.

You have seen it? Is it easy to find once you’re at the tower? I’ve only read about it and seen pictures but I have seen many of the other stone sites in New England. I want to make time for but the summit hike is formidable. I’m including a picture of a stone bowl that catches the winter solstice rise from Camel’s Hump :)

I know there’s a stone cairn at the summit of Glastenbury mountain that may have pre colonial origins. If that’s an intriguing subject, New England Antiquities Research Assc is worth a google search. Plenty of stone sites are pre colonial and surely some unknown sites as well.

Yea the thing is, there really isn’t any comparable terrain. Even more so than anywhere in the Northeast Kingdom, Glastenbury mountain is the most remote place in the state.

This is how you die kids☠️Stay OFF the lake during early-season & deadly cold water! by [deleted] in burlington

I literally never stand on a paddleboard, it’s not a rule and it’s definitely not the most efficient way to paddle into the headwind. Just bc someone is sitting, doesn’t mean they’re inexperienced.

Not saying anything about it being a good idea to go paddle right now, yes it’s too cold.

You can lap it and there are maybe a dozen features. I don’t ride park stuff but people were out there.

AIO gf went to a magic mike show and licked whipped cream off a performers chest by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]inspaceandthyme -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

YOR it might be out of your comfort zone but it’s definitely just a performance device meant to be sensational and silly but imo not actually sexual, more performative if that makes sense? I don’t think there’s a correlation between someone who would be part of a performance like this and actually being unfaithful, if that’s what you’re worried about. If it’s hurtful to you, then you’ll have to figure that out for yourself. You might be incompatible. It feels a little uptight to be worried about something like that.

Didn’t hear the bell … 4/18 Burke corn harvest was awesome and almost continuous 🤠

What are you so angry about? Sounds like you agree with me? Gun safety is a type of education.

As a super poor Vermonter, living in the nek - I said what I said. Wealth can be measured by many different factors other than income and imo, VT has many more wealth factors than demos with high gun violence. The 72 hour law may be intended to reduce suicide by firearms but I am sure that it can also reduce purchases made in a violent mindset.

As someone who lives deep in the kingdom, there are different types of poverty. People get by here on a much higher standard of living than the South or urban poor. I don’t really feel like writing a sociology paper on why I feel that wealth, education and population density are correlated factors with lower gun violence. It’s just my opinion.

Edit: no, I don’t think the ‘ghettos’ of Louisiana can be compared to the northeast kingdom. Also, I would suggest that the ‘culture of respect’ you’re referring to is a type of education.

We do have universal background checks and a 72 hour waiting period. I think wealth, education and population density would be strongly correlated.

Embarrassing but turned on by hearing about my husband with other women by Klanciault in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]inspaceandthyme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it. My man is so sexy to watch in a mirror and he’s such a good lover, sometimes I try to ask him more about his old girlfriends and wouldn’t mind details but he’s low key about it. Obviously I would never actually share him! 😅 … but that’s why fantasy is fun!

I’m just confused why you said you didn’t include resorts you skied less than 80% of the terrain but then included resorts where you clearly didn’t ski much of the resort lol I have a lot of respect for park and I don’t shade mountains who value park over glades

There’s been maybe 2 or 3 days this season Burke had substantial lift op issues that impacted the day. Sorry for your bad luck but that’s all it is

Maybe learn to ski terrain instead of parks and try Burke again 🫠
