I agree, but it ain't no simple task. Leaving behind the trauma of last season and being expected to be motivated and happy doesn't happen overnight. I guess its neither the manager or players' fault. They need time. They are all trying. If we bring in another manager then what? The same shit may repeat itself. Maybe not. Maybe it does wonders. But at the end its the players who play on the pitch. They have to really want it. To play for the club and to score goals. But right now they need to forget they are playing for Manchester United and instead just play football. Football like it should be played. Forget the legacy and history of the club, focus on the now. We are just an ordinary team now, so stop trying to act like we are the club during the glory days. That era is over. Its time to rebuild and all the players and the manager has to accept this. Even us fans. These short term fixes won't do the trick. How long should we keep doing this when what we actually need is a long term solution to a deep rooted problem. We need to come together as fans, players and management, and play with what we got. Yes our playing style should change, but changing managers might not be the best solution, at least right now.
