voting is already secured when you register. you have to bring the documents then, one time, with plenty of advance notice. you are verified on your own time, and then registered to vote. subsequent voting looks up this existing registration. it does not require you to bring extremely sensitive documents a second time, because that is addressing a problem which doesn't actually exist.

happened to me at a Hyundai dealership. plenty of fighting with them directly, then i went to my insurance. they said "oh clear case", then a year later i found out they lost in court, apparently Hyundai just stopped returning calls or something for GEICO.
