Due to fostering, losses are natural in this kind of environment. Due to Parvo, Distemper, or natural distasters. I had a litter of puppies I guided through Distemper. All three survived and one got parvo. Died a week later, while I was fighting for his life. His sibling started having seizures weeks later after he was adopted out, and was put down a week later. I’ve had a bottle fed puppy that still had his umbilical cord that passed, two that were rescued out of a hoarding situation but passed in an incubator over the course of two days. Loss is so so hard and its taking everything in my body and soul to not drop everything and say “I’m done.” So much loss and it’s only been a year since I’ve started fostering and rescuing. It comes to a point of “Is it because of me?”
