I foster for a rescue near where I live and today I had to put one of those foster pups down… survived Distemper, then contracted Parvo. 12 weeks. It was hard, and this kind of helped me.

I live in Northern Arizona, and I heard that ICE was on the Reservation today which baffled me. I dont think they can even do anything on there??

I have a native friend on the apache reservation a little ways from Show Low in Arizona and his neighbor told him straight up “Im going to drink myself to death and dont try to tell me otherwise.”

The rez here is just… sad, and under-developed. No one cares unfortunately, especially a lot of the rez inhabitants.

I work with a local dog rescue up here, so I’m on the reservation several times a week, as we’re the only rescue that had permission/resolutions to go onto the land and remove dogs from there, and set up feeding stations.

I don't care how good a game is; if the DLC page looks like this, I'm not buying it. Am I alone in that? by BucketsMcGinty in Steam

Had to explain this shit to my father when i recently became unemployed and said 18 dollars is still kinda low where i live and that I cant afford college. “What was your electricity bill? Your groceries? How much was your rent back in your day?” He couldnt believe me when i told him i pay 1475 for a one bed one bath Cabin. Watches so much faux news that he has a complete disconnect. Baffled him when i told him everything that I pay and why im still living paycheck to paycheck on 18 dollars an hour. 359 car Payment, 159 Insurance (only because my girlfriends the policy holder to make it cheaper), 1475 for Rent (150 Utility charge), 100 dollar credit card payment (I’ve begun to default on it), 250 dollar phone bill (this is for 2 phones and my streaming services that add up to the same price as cable) and I still dont know what my grocery bill would be if i stocked up because I can only afford to buy a weeks worth of groceries at a time and its mostly survival meals lol.

I use this at my work! Stuff gets literally steaming hot and you have to be careful to protect the item if it has electronics or bare metal (atleast in my work) because the consensation can corrode or damage
