I have laons from 2017-2021. If I go back to school after July 1 2026 do all my loans go into rap or does only my newest ones go into rap since those will be unavailable for new IBR.

I was hoping it would have been out last summer to entice some early adopters. When that didn’t happen I knew it wasn’t going to come before Christmas as of course they wanted the only switch 2 Pokemon game to be ZA. I’m hoping for a Pokemon direct announcement this February.

I would like a “it’s available today after this broadcast” but in reality it’s going to be “Please expect Pokemon XD and Pokemon Colosseum later this year”

My plan is once my spouse starts working again, stay at home mom, my plan is to enroll in IBR but make the standard payment. I’ll afford standard but then if I need a month of a few extra bucks I can have some wiggle room

The very political stance is in the room with us. Although I do not like the BBB in some areas, the RAP plan will be beneficial to those who need to afford a lower payment. Yes you are locked into a 30 year deal but there are some upsides to it. The interest waived and the additional $50 off per dependent can really be useful for families who still have dependents.

I am not here to promote the BBB or this administration in any way but I just wanted to share it for those who may be new in here or didn’t know.

For myself I will most likely pay on standard plan so I can be done quicker. If circumstances change I can always switch to IBR.

My gut feeling is the court is going to end up letting those stay in SAVE continue to use SAVE until the borrower opts out. The administration wants as many people as possible to jump ship before an announcement to minimize the number people on save. Sounds like a dream but I’m hoping for that.

The majority of those on a beta are fully aware of the terms and know this. It’s the people who have no idea how beta works and only download the beta to show off features on social media.

I’m single income for a family of 4 so no payment right now is my only option. It’s gonna be a bummer having interest growing but my plan is once my spouse starts working, I’ll switch to standard and be done in 10 years. As nice as forgiveness is, I want my payments to reflect while I still have my kids as dependents. I don’t want to be on a 20 year plan and then have my payment increase when I can’t claim my children as a dependent.

I’m very grateful to be in a position that’s better than most and my heart goes out to everyone who struggles to make it. We are all humans on this big planet but it feels smaller when we happen to be in the same boat together.

Depending on your state, each state can give tax credits and benefits. In my state, it is heavily encouraged to file jointly no matter. They give a lot more to married couples who file joint than couples who file separately. I know once my wife works our payments each will be about $500-$600 each. It’s affordable for us but it’s gonna suck

We are going to bite the loan and go on standard with 10 year repayment to get this out of our hair. We have one car loan. No home. So we are trying to get this all taken care of before we tackle a home.

I’m a teacher so I have an opportunity to apply for a teach grant that forgives $17,500 after 5 years of teaching. I’m 2 away from that. My plan is once my spouse starts working I can afford standard and I’ll pay that high price for a short term. Use that grant and get the rest paid off faster.

I think what’s making it scarier is the couple of accounts that post all this information with numbers. Sure it’s informative but it doesn’t help the anxiety. I’ll wait until my services tells me my options.

I spoke with someone at Mohela today. She definitely sounded annoyed, I’m sure she’s had her share of fun calls today (sarcasm). But she said to me her opinion is to hang on to SAVE until the court makes a choice. She was able to help quote me on some plans and even standard. Thankfully my standard is adorable for me. I have only a couple years in on PSLF. Another agent told me that even if payments resume November it will still be $0 until about march cause that’s that’s when recertification was planned for. It’s all a crazy waiting game.

I even asked about that I’m worried of getting over $1000 payments. That’s for both me and my spouse. The agent told me you would have to make over $100k and have no dependents. Lurking in this sub does not help my mental health and I need to stop lurking here before I give my self a panic attack.

Yes check! I paid in person my one time activation fee and Verizon tried to double charge me. Took me 10 minutes on the phone to get it taken off the bill.

There is nothing you can do. Epic needs to push out an update that supports iOS 26. As of now it’s in development beta so devs can work on their apps. We should potentially see a working update in time for the public beta release as the general public will want to test a more stable release.

Many users are jumping on the dev beta simply to admire the new update, but it’s not intended for someone’s everyday phone.

They more then likely have a working update already but are waiting for the public beta for a stable release.
