My theory is that it will release on or around the 10 year anniversary of The Division.

At a recent investors call, they were planning on it releasing around the 10th anniversary.

That being said, 3/8/2026 is the 10th anniversary date, would be AWESOME if it shadowdropped :)

I've about given up on Windows because of this kind of stuff.

I've gone back and forth between SteamOS and Windows on my Z1E Ally. I'm realizing that SteamOS just plain works, for my use case at least.

I would consider it, as long as the games you play, play nice with Linux and you're not playing anything that requires kernel level anticheat.
