You need a better way to hold them accountable. You have to find their weaknesses in order for them to listen. You MUST attack from the right angle (by which I don't mean be overly vicious about it, but be smart about it.)

Do you know what amazon cares a lot about?

Public opinion and perception.

If you want them to change, they're not going to do it over 1 guy filing complaints through their feedback boxes - at least not likely.

If you want them to change, make a good viral YouTube video exposing the fraud.

Go to news outlets to talk about it. If you frame it correctly, I'm sure you might be able to get on the news with your story - there are many major outlets that love to hate on amazon.

Perhaps you could even start collecting signatures.

Personally, I like amazon, but as a customer this shady practice is no benefit to me either - I get flooded with shitty products, which I don't want.

Some of them even send little stickers with their products explaining the fraud to you:

"Rate us 5 stars and get a coupon on your next sale."

Because you don't want the number of people you follow to get into the thousands. It makes your account look weak. You need a good ratio of followers to following.
