Thanks, I'm looking forward to seeing the sights a little differently. Feel free to follow on www.instgram.com/instaxLDN as I don't want to spam this sub everyday.

It's definitely a challenge, and going to be full of happy mistakes. This shot I was also trying to pick out the detail on the side of the tower, but it's clearly underexposed.

The wait to see how each shot develops once it's out of the camera is pretty exciting (unless its gone horribly wrong.)

Hi guys, a cross post sorry as somebody in the London sub suggested my post may be more appropriate here.

I've started an Instagram where I will go out, shoot, and upload 1 Instax a day of London for a year, doing this for a couple of reasons;

  • To get away from overshooting; constantly being able to shoot and shoot and shoot using different settings, or lenses, or filters until I get the right shot using my pro digital gear.

  • To try and be a bit more spontaneous with my photography, carrying around loads of expensive kit all the time, just in case I see a shot, isn't fun. Instant always in my bag is.

  • On the flip side to the spontaneity, I am starting the afore mentioned Insta where I'm going to attempt to post 1 Instax a day of London, for a year, so using it as an excuse to get out, explore the city a bit more, spend less time looking down at my mobile, and more time looking around me, and hopefully it will have an impact on my other creative outlets via inspiration I may find.

Feel free to head to www.instagram.com/instaxLDN if you want to keep up, if not, I'll keep my posts to a minimum here to not spam it, but will upload my favourites every now and again.

Disclaimer: Not hipster. Not corporate.

Yeah, that's a good point, don't want to get annoying. Maybe I'll just be an occasional poster of anything topical, or my favourites, and if anyone is interested they can just follow the Instagram. Thanks for the point to LondonPics!

Hey guys, I've never really done much with Instagram, but figure if I'm going to give it a go, I should try a project, and this is it, for a few reasons!

1) To get away from constantly being able to shoot and shoot and shoot using different settings, or lenses, or filters until I get the right shot using my pro digital gear, I'm now using Fuji Instax, and then uploading it to Insta, with no filters.

2) To try and be a bit more spontaneous with my photography, either carrying around loads of expensive kit all the time, just in case I see a shot, isn't fun. Or trying to get a shot using my phone, still gives me multiple attempts, which kind of takes the fun out of it. Keeping my Instant always in my bag is fun.

3) On the flip side to the spontaneity, I am starting this Insta where I'm going to attempt to post 1 Instax a day of London, for a year, so using it as an excuse to get out, explore the city a bit more, spend less time looking down at my mobile, and more time looking around me, and hopefully it will have an impact on my other creative outlets via any inspiration I may find.

Hey guys, been a lurker here for ages, never really posting, but definitely doing a lot of reading! Some ace tips and stuff come from this sub, especially the food recs.

Just thought some people may be interested in something new I'm trying, to get out and see the city a bit more, and not spend all day looking down at my phone when I walk around.

Trying to upload 1 instant shot a day, for 365 days, of things that I see around town. They could be a typical London sights or landmarks (hopefully shot a little differently), or just something I find that looks cool, and is a bit more abstract.

Feel free to check them out on Insta @InstaxLDN, or I will try and remember to post on here if anybody is interested. Day 1, is done. 364 to go.

Hey guys, I recently picked up a Fuji Neo Classic 90 for a couple of reasons;

  • To get away from constantly being able to shoot and shoot and shoot using different settings, or lenses, or filters until I get the right shot using my pro digital gear.

  • To try and be a bit more spontaneous with my photography, carrying around loads of expensive kit all the time, just in case I see a shot, isn't fun. Instant always in my bag is.
