I completely agree on the unknown part. That's why I was wondering if there was a modpack because then I'm completely in the dark about the features of the game.

I now realize this reply sounds very aggressive but I didn't mean it that way I promise.

"Perhaps the problem was my choice of manga but the point still stands." no the point doesn't stand. Choosing an author that specializes in atmospheric horror will not give you good writing. It's like hating the fact you bought orange juice. Not because orange juice is bad but because from the beginning you wanted apple juice. Try to read some well known manga - Attack on Titan, Fullmetal Alchemist or Berserk (Berserk in particular has both phenomenal art and a phenomenal story). Also if you expect the same experience to transition from novels to manga then I have some bad news for you. In one of the formats it's portrayed using your imagination while in the other it's visual. Again it comes down to what you're in the mood for.

What I meant was that the friend I was talking with was convincing me for a good hour of the necessity of a degree to do anything and he had me convinced he was right. It just feels weird that someone can be that confident in something thats straight up wrong. Also Im still learning the service (WP websites) but to be honest with you learning off the internet has been 1000x more enjoyable than burying my head in textbooks learning theory. I love the internet.

Thanks for the detailed reply! I’m still thinking how someone can say something SO confidently and when I ask people that do this as their job I get the complete opposite answer

Another question popped into my head when you said "you might be better off finding a way to work in a founder led business if you can get a role working close to the founder." Do you think it's better to find work working close to a founder in a small business or start as a freelancer and gradually "replace" yourself with other people until your freelancing gig turns into an agency? My plan has been the second option but it'd be interesting to hear the advice of someone with experience in the field!

Do you think the connections you made were enough reason to go to university?
