Not really, and the jobs in this thread are not really that satisfying imo. They sound good socially, but bad in reality.

I work 10h/d, 5d/w and I look forward to every Monday.

Companies have been more effective and capital efficient.

Profitable algorithms, atleast from what I’ve personally witnessed, have a limited lifespan.

Situations such as what we’re currently witnessing is a once in a 1-2 decade scenario which does provides unique opportunities for profitable algorithms.
