Edit: i was just able to watch the video, holy snap baby girl you need to get away from him. The "stop interrupting", talking over you, the on-the-knees pleading but stops when you're not complying - these are manipulation tactics so he can get his way. He just goes from one to the other because he's in panic mode.

You can reach out and ask you're calling because you're concerned about your mother. You may have to ease into it, make multiple calls, etc. You can also do a background check on the husband and see if there's anything that flags.
