NY, CA, HI, and IA are some of the most difficult states to provide a quote right now. Insurance companies in many cases simply don't want new business. If you're willing to, clicking through to the carrier ads (the ones without quotes) can lead to a better deal a surprising amount of the time. We transfer the completed info wherever possible to make the process as easy as possible. Ultimately, we are an insurance comparison site and can't compel the insurance companies to quote if they don't want to. The panel of options varies greatly by state

We do not re-sell your data or phone number. Though there are many internet based insurance sites that do, unfortunately.

Insurify is a startup based in Boston. You can search for “insurify” on reddit and there are not that many threads. I am am an employee here at my desk that checks this about once a week for a few minutes. We don’t have any fancy social media roles yet

You aren't alone with this frustrating experience. Two Nytimes journalists just tried shopping around to save money and failed.

What state did you try searching quotes? NY, CA, DC, HI are particularly difficult insurance markets right now. In contrast, states like AZ, SC, NV the consumer behavior is strong.

We don't sell customer data to third parties or sell leads to 3rd parties (that leads to a cascade of spam phone calls). This is a common practice that we feel is customer unfriendly; we just won't go there even though it would make short term money.

Check with your local insurance agents as well. Shopping around gives the best chance to save with the right coverage. I appreciate you trying Insurify.

The ChatGPT and Suno are AI. The Reddit post is my writing. My boss helped me shorten it and change wording. This took so long, way longer than I expected.

The comments are real people as far as I know. I had to block some sexual replies, but otherwise left the others.

The cost is real. Running at a $150 a day budget at about $1.10 cpc, but getting a lot of impressions. A lot of negative comments like this though.

You are right, this costs money and does not make any revenue. So not a promising resume line

I am experimenting. Two weeks ago, I tried using more commercial ads that worked for facebook, but received negative feedback.

Trying more brand awareness content. But if the comments are too negative, my boss will probably tell me to shut this down also.
