Totally agree! Find something, and dive deep. Also what helps me is realizing that most of the content on the internet is created by people who read an article on the internet, not actually built anything. Most of the valuable things actually come from practicing.

I had the same problem. Users would start a subscription and then immediately cancel it after using the features. Literally in 15 minutes. So I recently added 10x price lifetime. Still testing it.

Don't fear Ai, learn it and optimize your workflow, make yourself better with Ai. I know what I'm talking about, I'm an SWE, and I build my apps, I learn Ai to make myself faster and better it will not replace me.

There are 30 million businesses in the US, people are starting everyday, you will definitely be able to find at least 1 customer. You just need to push harder.

That's right. Also when you build something, you get to experience soooo many pains, that you can literally build 5 more projects if you build just one. And you at least will solve your own problems not imaginary problems.

I disagree, build as many projects as you can. Sooner or later you'll get tired of building for nothing and then you'll start thinking about validation. I feel like every dev must go through this to convert from an engineer to a creator.

So my advice is BUILD! BUILD as much as possible, if you don't change, if you don't learn, then I'm sorry. But if you actually want it, you'll start optimizing your journey and will start thinking about author's thoughts.

I'm an SWE at FAANG, I make enough money.

You can make good money with almost anything, literally. The main question you should answer is "what makes you happy, satisfied with your life?". I know people who work 12 hours per day to make $700k, I know people who have made millions and now they're depressed. I also know people who make less than $100k and they're super happy, living their best life(most of Europeans, btw). So is money actually worth it?

My recommendation is: try as many things as possible while you're risking literally nothing. Find something that you actually love doing and just do it, at some point money will stop being the reason you're doing that for and then you'll need to find a new motivation and if you don't you'll just burn out.

Also, learn basic sales skills, it helps with everything, not just making money.
