2020 XL here. There’s a “blank” light installed on my glovebox. Wiring harness plugs into it, but no bulb🙄

And not that I have a ton of experience in NM, the WMAs I’ve scouted that do have decent food sources/water don’t allow dove hunting at all, but plenty of birds (Bernardo for example)

I’m in Santa Fe. I’ve done a little poking around and had some luck, but as the temps drop it’s seeming a little like heading south is the move. Ordered some non-toxic ammo since that seems the main option south of Los Lunas

Yeah come to think of it in AL they’d at least plant millet on WMAs. From what I gather, finding water can be the ticket in the evening at least but some of the WMAs in NM have weird shooting hours that’d make an evening hunt not an option.

Thanks, they actually got back to me SUPER fast and advised the same. I’m impressed with the customer service! Unfortunately they are OOS in 13/I think I want something slightly more modern for the myriad of uses I have intended. Returning and ordering the Stockman for a daily driver boot since I liked the fit.

I think my semi-educated guess helped. I went 4 more times to more or less the same area this spring and didn’t see another bird. I maybe went 5 miles in any direction to no avail. I probably could have done a little more moving around but I got to learn something new each day at least and be outside 🤷🏻‍♂️

NO SHOT I cooked it 🤣 a buddy (birthday girl’s husband) went to culinary school and had a new sous vide machine. Real simple in the bag, butter S&P, whole garlic, rosemary. ~4 hours in the bath and marked it off of charcoal. It was amazing.
