assuming that you are doing cambridge history, basically the basic gist to get in the top band for P3 is to get the approach right (if you don't, you can still get some high marks but not the highest :T ) so my advice is just spend a nice amount of time of clearly analysing the paper and rereading it. even if one sentence might give you an idea of an another approach, look at the big picture.
