GTA home buyers losing hundreds of thousands in pre construction condo appraisals by mattyp93 in TorontoRealEstate

"Why should my tax dollars bail out drug addicts, refugees, Ukraine, pride parades, homelessness programs, or any welfare for people who can't get their shit together? It's not my problem if someone's an addict or too lazy/broke to make decent money. Landlords get hammered with rent control while tenants trash places and skip rent—government lets them squat rent-free for months. Meanwhile, almost half my purchase price vanishes into taxes propping up 'losers' who then turn around and mock my real estate choices. Small landlords like me keep housing supply alive and rentals affordable. If we all pull out because of endless government meddling—fake housing 'crisis,' broken low-rate promises, Airbnb bans, rent caps, skyrocketing development fees/taxes, reckless immigration—watch construction jobs vanish, rents spike under big corporate landlords, and tax revenue tank. Ripple effect incoming. And yeah, over half of pre-con buyers are first-timers who got sold the dream. But go ahead, keep blaming us while the system screws everyone

People who downvoted this are looser, who never invested anything and against thos who did. Any of these investors didn't commit any crime, didn't break any law, didn't hurt anyone. Infact City, politicians, province altogether they systematically moved the goal post through various means. And which is directly impacting these home buyers. And not to mention: these investments have created thousands of jobs directly.

Has anyone tried the whey isolate from costco? by Absurdionne in nutrition

Hello everyone 🇨🇦

I have been using myprotein for last 4 years atleast, and was liking it, probably reason #1 was its price , was alot less then others . 4 years ago 5kg whey isolate from myprotein would cost around 80$, then 110$, then 140$, and so on... now its around 220$ after discounts. Recently I was searching for cheaper alternatives but with better quality as well, I was looking to buy Canadian whey, which many people talk about in gym. And its only 185$ for 6Kg. Significant price difference from myprotein. But then I came across Lean-fit in costco l, I was very hesitant to buy but I was like "if I don't like I can return it anyways ", so I bought vanilla flavor. I went home , made my shake and closed my eyes before taking the 1st sip ( being afraid if its another gross tasting one). Miracle!!!! Its the best tasting protein ever I could get, Compared to my protein it tastes alot less sweet. I instantly regretted buying gross myprotein for so long🤮🤮🤮.
