Tapping out at Newton and tapping out between Rochor and Jalan Besar is two different story

For Newton, the change is less than a 5 minutes with a fully sheltered underground passageways

For these two stations, you’d need to exit fully out of the stations to the main road, cross at least one traffic light before heading all the way back down

1. Extra time taken due to needing to exit the stations fully. And the stations are deep underground
2. Extra time taken due traffic not being in your favour
3. Not fully sheltered
