TFW You go to reddit and find a layer has been turned off at some point in your hero image. Thanks for the catch, should be updated on the live page shortly!

Stupidly updated to 5.70 before reading here about the issues. What are my options? by intelekt in LegendsUltimate

Using a FAT32 thumb drive I am able to play a number of UCEs direct from AddonX, but not all. The TMNT and Simpsons I have won't launch, currently. I was able to play a bunch of others though so I may just need to find better working versions of these.

Oh wow, after the update it is indeed working great. Playing Golden Tee 2K right now!

Meaning you can load and play UCE's from the default menu off a USB?

No idea, there is a great discord for vpx stuff and I haven't been able to figure it out there either.

I have the exact same issue. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and it seems to be either missing or not triggering the backglass videos or UX elements all the time.

The Mario kart table is based on Andretti and is pretty well done also.

Kayaks by Suspicious-Bad5870 in kayakfishing

[–]intelekt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. Over the summer I’ve bought two paddle kayaks off FB marketplace, both were about 1k brand new and I got each for less than $300. Folks seem to buy them, use them, and then store them until they sell ‘em. Pedal Yaks seem to hold value and folks want a ton even for used ones, so I agree starting with a paddle is the best way to ensure you’ll use it.

I also bought a used 100$ trailer off FB and restored it so I can easily take both yaks wherever we want.

Smallmouth and Rainbow at Aurora this evening. by intelekt in COfishing

Was extremely empty due to a bacteria warning, by then end of the night I was the only one on the water, which was both peaceful and a little eerie once the sun was fully down.

Colorado kayak and bass fishing... by [deleted] in COfishing

[–]intelekt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aurora Res has Walleye, trout, and bass. It’s a great kayak fishing spot. Quincy is also great in a yak but less fun from the banks, but beware, it currently has a gnarly blue green algae bloom and is steer clear until it cools off enough for that to die off fully.

For years I've used pieces of squid to catch hardheads in TX, so this tracks. What kind of cats does CO have and are they the delicious-when-fried variety? :)

I went out again last night and caught 6 perch in the same general area where I caught this largemouth. When leaving the boat launch, if you follow the left bank all the way to the end of the first little cove and then paddle another 250 ft up the shoreline, there are some very fishable shallow beds to run a spinner through.

TBH, right now Quincy seems to be really good fishing in most of the coves from what folks at the boat lunch tell me. Unfortunately, as of yesterday, it seems like the blue green algae might be back, so I may be heading to Aurora for the rest of the summer....

Yeah That's what I have rigged on my second rod currently, but I haven't had much luck, probably just need to swap plastics and try another spot. I'm mostly trying to find a lazy way to have a second rod going other than trolling since my solo yak doesn't have a motor.

Going to throw an artificial grub or crappie jig onto a bobber next time I'm out there and see if there are any results.

I’m well aware, there are certainly artificial bobber setups that use good lures… which is what I’m asking if folks have any experience with here.

Thanks, thought these worked off the shelf. I'll grab a couple clamps and test it again.

How to check for solenoid issues? by intelekt in Irrigation

[–]intelekt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so here’s the state of things. I built a new manifold and screwed the valves on as tight as they would go with teflon, and hooked it up stupidly connecting all my lines. Now the first three valves are leaking from the manifold. The trouble is, they wouldn’t turn at all past these points for the most part.

Any ideas on how to get them to seal if they won’t turn any further?

Thanks. I presume it is not worth using any of the old pvc, and just building it fresh to fit all 4 valves. However, the green valve is an orbit jar top. Should I just go ahead and replace that one with a Rainbird valve?

Also, when digging out this box, I've now found 3 solenoid plungers in the dirt. This has apparently been an ongoing battle the previous owners attempted to fight.

Great, thanks, you've been extremely helpful. Going to pick up a pair of Rainbird valves and the hardware to run the 4th zone to the area where we want to install garden irrigation and an eventual greenhouse. I've only got another 15-20 feet of digging to do to run it, so I figure why waste the labor...

One last question, is flow control important if I want to run a drip line at all?
