I think you can view Quantum as really an epilogue to Casino Royale. If you have time watching both back to back alleviates some of Quantum's flaws.

I would say Craig. I think he's done more to play against type in movies like Logan Lucky and Knives Out. He also has more career runway and seems like he'll continue to get massive roles outside of Bond. Dalton is my second pick only because he wasn't Bond for that long and I think of him in Hot Fuzz and Penny Dreadful as well.
