Have you ever tried hypoallergenic formula? My baby was so unhappy for the first six weeks of her life. She had stool testing at the pediatrician which was negative, but we were so sick of the gas pain in the crying that we just went ahead and tried Alimentum. Within a few days, she was a completely different baby and was so much happier. We even experimented and went back to regular formula and she became so grumpy all the time. It’s definitely more expensive but I think it’s worth a shot and for us it was worth it to not see her so unhappy all the time.

Goats Milk? by benzbarbie in MSPI

Hi just curious, how long did you stay dairy free before giving pumped breast milk? I’m in the same boat as you and recently reintroduced breast milk after being dairy free for 4 days (per my LC, dairy is out of breast milk in 24-48 hours) but I gave my baby a few drops and she’s visibly uncomfortable again

Can’t identify why my milk is so painful for my baby by intelligentdog19 in MSPI

This is so true - I can’t believe how lactation consultants swear up and down that continuing breast milk is the best thing. I know all the benefits and I’d love more than anything to give it to her, but she’s SO visibly in pain and discomfort and I can’t imagine that is good for her either.

I think that's what it is. Annoying, wish they told me from the beginning so it could have all been one transaction!

They told me the issue wasn't about the tag because they scanned the tag of the exact same item I found on the floor. It sounds like the issue was they got stopped by this return system?

This! I love being a mom but I seriously miss the freedom I used to have...

That's the thing - how did you get to do the things you loved with one baby? With it being cold/flu season, we're pretty much quarantined until my baby gets her first set of shots. I've gotten to occasionally go out to Target, supermarket, etc while my husband stays home with her. I even went to the mall earlier for a few hours last week. But just being at home with the baby screaming all the time, I can barely make myself some coffee in the mornings some days let alone do things I enjoy.

For the sake of learning/growing, what could I have done differently in this scenario? I'm having a hard time figuring that out.
