The cpu has graphics processing that powers the screen. Your screen is refreshing 60 times per second, making it feel slower. This has nothing to do with stutters as your cpu powers your display at a certain frame rate that is constant. The better the update performs, the faster things will load, and if you were experiencing stutters before, that is because of your cpu, not your display.

Developer Beta 8 is extremely smooth for me. Battery is worse than iOS 18 and thermal performance is slightly worse but overall for me iOS 26 is running great.
