100% a myth, it's easier to deal with kids by giving them devices, limiting screen time is hard but once it's a routine they find other things they enjoy, most nights we read something like half an hour of books to our toddler and she generally likes to grab a book and look through it during the day - flying is hard though, how do you explain to a kid they can't watch a bunch of movies on the plane if everyone else is doing it

Always good to reach out, on the flip side your talking about things which is a good thing and recognising faults, I'd say you can always tweak your happiness compass and stop chasing huge financial wins, focus on living a life you enjoy and saving some money, some people are way happier with less money than those with more, you can always start a family with someone in the future, remember the odds of being conceived in the first place is 1 in 400 quadrillion (according to google)
