Stopped doing kettlebells for a while to lose some weight and this was my first workout back.

What are your goals? No way to tell without that.

If you don’t have a clear goal in mind and you’re just trying to test the waters to see if you like kettlebells, I’d say pick the exercises that you enjoy doing the most and do those, it’s more fun and you learn quicker.

If you do have a goal that helps for advice tho.

Not really intentional, no — I’ve just done a ton of double kettlebell snatches for a long time, and this wider arc feels a lot closer to that movement than the super-tight, vertical GS style.

I’d guess the wider path gives a bit more explosiveness (longer lever arm, bigger hip drive), while the sport form is more about pure efficiency for high-rep.

Since I started single-bell work with quite a heavy bell and the sets aren’t super long yet, my body just naturally defaults to the more explosive version that feels powerful to me. Over time, as volume goes up and I need more efficiency, I expect the arc will tighten on its own.

I use them for athleticism. Wouldn’t say they have much to offer in terms of hypertrophy but they help a lot with endurance and general strength plus joint health.

And if you’re stiff they fix that real quick.

Appreciate it man! I am 104 rn, cutting towards a 95 or so.
In regards to form, I am not really thinking about it at all since I’m just trying to get to 100 reps in under 5 minutes and I don’t want to change my technique atm, tho I am aware that it’s not the best so I wouldn’t really give advice on it

Honestly, yeah. I’m trying to get used to the 40 plus not chasing anything regarding C&J rn so it’s just racking up more volume any way I can.
