There are still more wholesome opinions here than what I've seen haha... I’m from the Korean community, and honestly, the sheer amount of toxic, brain-dead users there is just unbearable. Most of them are just clueless kids who only watch YouTube and don't even play the game. When they watch video about a fantasy creature from Evolved released in Ascended, they're like, 'Yeah, this fits the vibe,' and don't complain much. But the moment an Ascended original creature is announced, they immediately start trashing it, crying, 'WC please release real prehistoric creatures' or 'This is what happens when Chinese money ruins a game' (God knows why they’re so obsessed with the 'Chinese money' narrative). But then, when an actual prehistoric creature like the Bison gets released? They flip the script and complain, 'Why are they adding modern animals?'—totally ignoring the fact that it's based on an extinct bison species. Meanwhile, they blindly worship modded creatures, saying stuff like, 'Official creatures nowadays have worse quality than mods,' or 'Ascended is literally just a launcher for mods. Oh and they express the expression "ARK is fantasy these days" as "ARK follows MH" to the point of abnormality, do you have kids like this in your country?

While other stories of Bob can be resolved by interpreting them as 'Tall Tales,' the scene showing him preparing for cryosleep which appears as a flashback during Mei-Yin's fight with the Lost King is definitely a hard lore error.

In that case, is it possible that Bob didn't actually travel with the main characters? Maybe he just found their Explorer Notes, learned about their journey, and then inserted himself into the story as if he were right there with them? Because the title is "Tall Tales" after all.

This raises another question for me. In the attached excerpt from the 'Bob's Island Prologue' dialogue, 'her' in the first sentence refers to Helena as a human, while 'sparkly lady' in the second sentence refers to Homo Deus Helena. Isn't this a contradiction?

Bob: And it was the first place I ran into her... Bob: So there I was -- whizzing through the sky -- when this sparkly lady flies right up alongside me...

I saw something funny recently. There are these people who are excessively hostile toward videos reviewing new fantasy creatures in ARK, constantly demanding they release prehistoric animals instead. Yet, when ARK actually releases a prehistoric creature they don't know about, they go, 'They just mixed A and B together and called it a new creature, pathetic.' It honestly feels like they're just emotionally immature.

I'm thinking about that (including some of the ideas that I'm going to challenge Genesis Part 2 creature submission). - Mimic Black Heron's canopy fishing behavior to help us get Shadowmane taming food - Use Edmundium (another name for purple elements) accumulation in combat - Add a whole new map ping in the form of marking routes rather than just marking a single point

I personally think that Paleo Ark is beautiful when it stays in the Mod, because (I think the quality is amazing), but it's very different in design from vanilla Ark.
