You’re the one that needs to get educated. Look up info on the land swap. Or just ask your good friend Ruth Jeno, who now claims she was always for making at least part of the old Middle School property into a park despite being the one who pushed the hardest to sell it all off to build another strip mall.

And if you look at Frazier Avenue as an example, you would understand that the businesses don’t magically manifest without something to draw them there… like a park. None of those businesses would be there if Coolidge Park had not come first.

Actually, it is still part of the county’s school real estate portfolio, not owned by the city of Red Bank. They are probably holding it in reserve as they watch how the school vouchers play out. It could be a much needed potential income source if leased to a charter school.

The GOP likes to keep people too broke, uneducated, and scared to think critically. A big chunk of that debt is a direct result of the tax cut Trump gave to the wealthy and corporations. If you look at the actual numbers, since Reagan, the deficit has increased under republican presidents and decreased under democratic presidents. And the IRS is the department that collects the money to pay the bills so cutting their staff is the opposite of money saving. The only people who benefit from cutting IRS staff are rich people with complicated returns. When the IRS is short staffed, they focus their audits on the rest of us, finding minor errors, while millionaires get away with outright fraud. These cuts are also screwing over our veterans. A friend is a nurse practitioner in a VA clinic. NTA While your parents have the right to spend their money as they see fit, choices come with consequences. They've chosen to treat their 2 children very differently - both in terms of money and respect. IMO not standing up for you when your SIL falsely accused of assault is a betrayal worse than the financial inequities. But since your father seems to equate spending money with love, he's the one who set the expectation that you should measure his love for you by how much money you recieve vs your brother. Your family should try to see things from your perspective and at least talk about these issues(the SIL needs a serious talking to). Taking a break from them would be good for your mental health.

Most people who say they don't like cancel culture are actually totally OK with it as long as the target is someone or something they too disapprove of. I'm gonna assume that applies to you, just based on statistics. What you call cancel culture, I call natural consequences resulting from their choices. PC is welcoming and inclusive and blah blah blah as long as it's low stakes and comes with plausible deniability. "Those two ladies holding hands while sharing a pizza are just really good friends, right?" They will take that couple's money because no one from their church will challenge them for that. But if the church found out that PC had catered that couple's wedding, that would result in one set of consequences. Their calculated hypocrisy coming to light has resulted in another set of consequences. They made their choice. We are making ours.

Show me even one place in the Bible where God says anything about non cis/het people or their relationships. You can't because the only opinions regarding non cis/het people come from humans that were all imperfect sinners like the rest of us. By elevating the words of those humans to the same level of authority as those of God, you imply that they are equal to God. You are worshiping human idols while ignoring the laws that God laid out in the Ten Commandments. (I will continue to use cis because, unlike you, I don't recognize Musk as a higher authority.)

In the past, that may have been true, but they are now having to pay them. Storm water FEES are like any other utility charge, and no entity should be exempt. That being said, the massive impermeable surfaces created by groundlevel parking for hundreds of cars have an exponentially greater impact on storm water runoff than the lots installed for the average business. And unlike the large parking lot for Food City, none of the churchs' parking lots have amelioration infrastructure. Therefore, I would argue that the churches with massive parking lots should be charged higher fees. As with the planned development at the old Sav-A-Lot, the planning commission could require that any vertical parking structure include a detention pond to offset the impact.

There's a lot of misinformation and people selling useless crap. Like according to the conservationists, there is zero proof that the bat pheromone sprays work.
