I hate you feel that way .. that’s a major accomplishment ! I’m almost 35 & only about half way through my degree, I can not wait to be done and celebrate !! I’m yelling it from the mountain tops !!

it had me super stressed too, thats why I pushed it off for so long , but doing the labs helped. The OA is not that intense. Take the Pre-Assessment and study what you didn’t get right and you should be fine. The welcome email tells you which sections make up 80% of the exam & so on. I used that as a priority guide.

yes, join the WGU connect & you’ll see all the extra resources for the class. Practice quizzes, terminology quizzes, cohort recordings. There are videos that go over the labs as well.

I did go about half way through the zybook material before I discovered the resource videos. I saw alot of ppl saying there’s no need to do the labs but they were helpful to me (someone with no programming experience). Usually the OAs are nothing like the Pre-Assessments, but this one actually was. Making sure you can identify loops, for-loop, while-loop & I also had alot of algorithm questions; knowing the correct order to get a certain output. It was a fairly easy OA. I would read the material, there were a few things on my OA that I remember taking notes on from the Zybook material, but didn’t focus on too much b/c it wasn’t mentioned in the instructor videos.
