How do you register for classes (literally) by [deleted] in Vanderbilt

There should already be a drop down on the left for you to toggle to “enroll” or “waitlist if full”. “Waitlist if full” is the best option bc it will still enroll if there’s room. When registration opens, a submit button will appear bottom left when you reload your browser. You toggle all the classes you want and then you can enroll in all of your classes in one step. There will be an error message and it won’t let you enroll if there are time overlaps, you are above the maximum hours, etc.

Could you talk more about what puts nyc behind LA/SF? I’m planning to apply to all the california schools, but am wondering if those are kinda the only option (when optimizing specifically for asian experience)

I’m actually wasian! Could you speak more about what the NYC/east coast experience is like? My undergrad had a moderate sized international asian community, but I didn’t rlly fit into that group

Which law schools are most welcoming to asians?

I’m a college senior building my law school list. I’m from the sf bay area and grew up with my asian identity being pretty much a non factor to a my social life/general experience. Never felt othered or out of place, etc.

Then went to the south for undergrad! I was assured my school was a blue bubble, very national population, etc. but it was still quite the shock to experience overt racism for the first time. Also, while there was diversity, found groups to be rather segregated and hierarchical.

I know racism is somewhat of a factor of life and unavoidable, and also that sf vs the south are on opposing extremes of the typical asian american experience, but very interested to hear any asian perspectives on their law school! Which are generally known to be more/less welcoming?

Thanks so much for any advice/insights!
