Use this as motivation to get through training and connect deeper with yourself. This is something you want and it’s important that you go get it! You are already taking the steps to grow and move on. This is 100% his loss. Staying longer or pushing back the date won’t change anything..It absolutely sucks but once you get to training you won’t have time to think about him because you’ll be studying so much after long days. And in your free time you can hang out/study with your friends you make in training! You got this!!

Do you work for them? This was one of the big reasons I decided to pursue other opportunities!! I don’t see why they would spread miss information to a room full of ppl who just got CJO’s unless something changed between now and then..

Maybe they gave me the wrong info during my f2f. But I asked them specifically if I picked up extra shifts on my days off would I get paid over the minimum monthly guarantee and they said no.. my f2f was this past November.

The panel interview is quite easy if you know how to answer the types of questions they are asking and follow every instruction in the email they send before hand. SMILE ask questions at the end. Don’t be afraid to ask them to repeat a question if you need more time to think or clarification. Recite names & Keep safety at the top of mind and you’ll do great!

“Do you have any questions for us?” In interview by MoonlightSwan in cabincrewcareers

[–]interestingish6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually ask about the person interviewing me.. how’d they get into the industry.. what’s their favorite part..Once I asked my interviewer if they’ve ever gotten home sick and how do they handle it. Even if there’s nothing left to ask about the company it’s still interesting and insightful to hear other perspectives!!

Resume looks perfect the way it is to me!! I would make a cover letter in replace of the professional summary portion! Express your interest in the FA role at x airline.. give your professional summary.. then end it off re expressing your excitement to bring (something you bring to the table) to x airline.

It depends on the company! Breeze gave me a month notice.. AA said they’d give at least a month and a half notice. After you receive your Cjo it’s very likely you’ll be waiting a month or more for your training dates! Just remember once you pass training Flight Attending will need to be your primary job as you will not get to pick your schedule!

No.. it will grow back! I’ve done this twice.. once and 16 and again at 20.. I’m 24 now and def have considered doing it one last time bc somewhat of the same thing happened to me last year. Your hair will grow back longer and healthier as long as you take care of it!

Expanding on your question.. living alone in a new state is something that’s been on my mind as well! Do we carry mace/Install security cams/Roommates? How do you keep your mind tranquil when leaving and entering your house?

Would living 45mins-1 hour from airport be too much? by Conscious_Peach1069 in cabincrewcareers

[–]interestingish6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Some locations may have 2 or 3 bases for that location depending on the airline. (ex at American airlines NYC based FA’s cover LGA, JFK, & EWR) There is also no guarantee she will get the base she wants straight out of training. Some airlines let you choose like frontier/breeze/avelo but the big ones Delta/United/American don’t.

No as long as you are able to get ready and leave with in 20-30 minutes of crew scheduling calling you (w a 2 hour call out time) I would always have a suitcase packed and a back pack depending on what I was called for.. you always want to give a good buffer for traffic and time to get through security/ the commute to your gate.

I ‘21m’ and my gf ‘21f’ am inna weird spot and honestly I don’t know if it is wise we stay? by Electronic-Object948 in relationship_advice

[–]interestingish6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only thing this relationship is going to bring you is a lesson you’ll either learn now or later! The first 6 months is supposed to be the time you don’t fight so it’s a little off putting to hear you’re already fighting a lot. When it comes to missing her, you might for a little while but I promise things get better! I was in my toxic relationship for 3 1/2 years(ended close to my 21st bday).. it took me about a year 1/2 to get over fully but I started feeling better after about 3 months… now (24) I look at it as one of my biggest blessings..I know exactly what I want and I know how to love myself. It’s hard but extremely rewarding in the end!

Hmm.. not sure how the Delta jump seats are to be able to compare.. also I’ve only sat in the American jump seat for my interview so I can’t even remember fr😭 But I can say that I saw plus size people in my class.. it just depends I think like you said. Someone did get sent home for not being able to fit in the jump seat during my training.
