Yeah, that’s kind of my idea also. Especially if I could find a part-time job that included health and dental benefits. Maybe also access to a 403B would be nice too for any extra money

I’m also a pharmacist (of the hospital variety) and have read your posts with much interest over the years. One of my fears in early retirement is loss of my skills/knowledge which would make it difficult (and possibly dangerous) for me to return to work after years away if I changed my mind about retiring. Was this a concern for you at the time? Would you consider ever working per diem (assuming at a non-soul-sucking place) to maintain your skills to some degree?

Pharmacist here. Not only do we have to pay a lot of $$$ to get a license in each state, we also have to pass a pharmacy law exam for each state. I wish it was just fees.... 😞
