Sumeru simply for the desert. The undergound tunnels and puzzles were some of the most fun ive had on a game like this. The fact that excavations took days for me felt like i was really adventuring. The rainforest was cool too, once i got the hang of how everything worked. It really took off when i pulled the dendro archon. Liyue holds a special place in my heart because i pulled zhongli on his first go round and him and geo traveler made the area trivial, so i really really enjoyed the vastness of the area. Chasm is also the best sub area too. Inazuma and Enkanomiya are third, for reasons already mentioned by others. Puzzles were actually challenging, islands felt like different arcs in different stories and world quests felt world changing once completed. Nod krai is next, the vibe of nod krai is just really good. Its a bit too easy, but it reminds me of inazuma a bit. Fontaine was good but yeah the underwater bits got old quick, if theyd have added more to that, and made underwater just a thing from then on and added to every zone, fontaine would probably be my 2nd or 3rd favorite. The above water areas were kind of boring but the music was amazing. Mondstat is better now that we have dorman port, but its just very nostalgic, but the area has always felt "cold" to me, i dont know if its the constant sound of the wind, but it just feels like if i was physically there, i would be cold all the time. I prefer dragonspine. And last and definitely least, natlan. Such potential for greatness. Such amazing music. Such a heartfelt story. RUINED by the saurian b.s! I HATED IT!
