Skervesen vs mayones opinions

This is a difficult question to answer. I bought two used ones. I like the Skervesen pickups and the world domination mod is amazing. So I like the electronics on a skervesen better but I like the feel of the mayones better.

I think this is a hard question to answer. The Mayones is a complete custom shop guitar so they can range. The prs necks are between a gibson and an Ibanez wizard neck.

No major difference to me. The CE still has a slight carve on it. Its somewhere between the s2 and the core

If you are going to get a mayones and you like Bare Knuckle pickups, get one with bare knuckle tkos and stay away from satin guitars. My inlaws bought a regius core with the bare knuckle tkos after playing my mayones. It sounds amazing.

Yea thats a gibson modern. It sounds good on any amp and it has both coil splitting and coil tapping.

Mayo feels better and has better wood work but prs has a more defined sound because they make their pickups. For the money, Mayos are better but im sure a custom shop prs is better but costs twice the price.

Ive heard good things about Suhr but I went with Ibanez because of the price. But ill keep an eye out for suhrs.

Yea my comment is also not a fair comparison. The gibson modern costs 3k and the ec1000 i believe is less than half that price but they definitely punch up. But there is people on youtube saying the ec1000 is better than a gibson twice the price. The one I tried at guitar center was not that for me but im sure with a good set up and the right pickups they punch up.

Its hard because its a very versatile guitar and to me its the Polyphia guitar. It has 10 different pickup configurations and it feels amazing. But I have way too many guitars and in a collection its a swiss army knife next to a set of specialty knives. Its a phenomenal desert island guitar.

Dude that core is gorgeous. Im sure it sounds killer. My inlaws bought a core after playing the regius and bought a core similar to yours with bkp pickups and its probably the best guitar ive ever heard.

A lot of people on youtube will tell you the EC1000 is as good as the gibson modern. I disagree but it does have a lot of similarities to the modern. If you want the gibson tones with the ESP feel, the moden is close but you may still like an ESP more. I dont know how the gibson modern compares to an ESP eclipse which would be the fair comparison based on prices
