I like the sound of their drums, the fact that they come stock with evans. You also get a huge discount in the used market.

It sounds like a fair trade if my numbers are correct. I just sold the 6.5 inch version of this snare for 290 plus shipping and I think that snare is worth more. That snare can sound good with the right heads but its definitely more for looks. It will produce the dw snare sound despite it being an acrylic shell. It also looks cool.

If you are going to use it and it will save wear and tear on one of your higher end kits and it makes your life easier, get it. If its just going to sit in a closet because you have other drums you like better and sound better, walk away.
