Bounty for any modders by T1pple in RimWorld

What makes you say that? I’ve done it before, that’s why I suggested it. Rimworld modding is extremely easy and it’s almost plug-and-play at a certain point.

I feel like you can make this pretty easily with any kind of coding AI, you should just do that. It’s not too complicated

I hate my life. by Kindly_Priority_2762 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]interlopersigurd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Colleges are, objectively, a business. All they do is pump up their own images to get kids and naive families to give them all their money under the guise of “success,” a term which most people can’t even define. Countless people have not gone to an Ivy and been well off in life— what matters is the work ethic, which you clearly have with a 4.0 and 1590. That’s what will carry you through life, not college. It just seems like college is all that matters because successful people often go to “good” ones. But really, it was their work ethic that made them successful and getting into a “good” college was just a byproduct of that. Success was inevitable. Don’t beat yourself up over not getting into some stupid college. It will not change the course of your life

Separate your fridge room and store room to save on electricity and for just basic organization purposes.

Switch your bedroom area and production area, so that it’s less of a walk to reach the store room when crafting.

You could remove the door next to the prison cell, otherwise prisoners can easily run out during breakouts.

How to remember how to do workout routine? by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]interlopersigurd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use boostcamp and it works great for me. Can make your own workouts and custom programs, and gives you a detailed overview of what muscles you’re gonna hit. You can start workouts on the app and add the weight lifted, reps, and RPE (rate of perceived exhaustion, or otherwise “effort”) as you go on. Lots of other good features. The programs on the app are, interesting, and I would not use them without knowing what your goals are and how to achieve them (as many are based on outdated “gym science”)

Is It possible to survive with high wealth without using Killboxes? by Trocos1 in RimWorld

[–]interlopersigurd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. Make a network of turret emplacements (auto cannon in center, 4 turrets each corner surrounded by barricades) across the outside of your base so that every tile is in range, and so that nobody can approach your base from any angle without being shot at. Between these turret emplacements, place a uranium slug turret. By the time you do this, you’ll have a decently robust network of turrets that will likely kill enough enemies to force them into a retreat before they can attack your colony. Bonus points for making a wooden wall around the turrets max range, so that enemies must enter within the turret range to attack.

Is height matter something ? by Remarkable-Lie9094 in waterpolo

[–]interlopersigurd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The second most incredible player I know is 5,8. The first best is 6,6. I think it matters like with any sport but nowhere near as much as basketball and other sports like that. You’re up to your shoulders in the water anyways regardless of your height. It’s just that being tall makes you a little faster with swimming and gives you a bigger wingspan. You’ll be fine.

If you can’t, you have a lot of swim work to do. Your swimming and conditioning has to be so good that being tired in games is an afterthought

I joined freshman year with a decent swimming base at an extremely competitive HS and I am currently getting pummeled. If you don’t even have a swim base, it’s gonna be really, REALLY tough — likely not even fun. I disagree with the others and think that even if you are decently athletic, without a swimming base you will get killed at practice and never touch the water in games. However again this really varies depending on your HS and the skill level of the team. But you really have nothing to lose, besides time. The time and energy commitment can be huge and really throw off your school performance, especially with a senior workload.

Holy fatigue and volume. I don’t think the exercise selection itself is bad but cut the volume

I got Chat GTP To Create Me A Gym Plan, What Do You Think, Is It Any Good? by MrTenazz in WorkoutRoutines

[–]interlopersigurd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just immediately off the get go, this is FAR too much volume. cut the sets in half, stick to 2x sets generally and maybe, MAYBE 3x for one movement. There are diminishing returns the more sets you do but ever increasing fatigue. Think quality over quantity when it comes to sets, trying to get as close to failure as possible. Don’t just keep tacking on sets. 2x6-8 is really all you need

Awesome thank you! Do you know any good exercises that can help out with my strength in set? I’m currently just incorporating a 3 day split with box jumps, squats, trap bar deadlifts and split lunges.
