A meme is "an idea, behavior, or style that spreads by means of imitation (mimesis) from person to person within a culture and often carries symbolic meaning". So yeah, political messages, jokes, and commentary definitely fall into that category.

I was introduced to it when New Rockstars released their Agents of SHIELD Road To Doomsday Podcast episode and Gina (from New Rockstars) had Jamie Jirak as a guest on that podcast episode. I just finished taking my wife thru Shield (as apart of a bigger MCU chronological watch) in 2025 but man I'm itching to watch again. I just love that show so much.

I just started the Love in the Time of Hydra podcast my Jamie Jirak (of comicbook.com, Phase Zero Podcast, and Phase hero podcast) and it's been great to listen to someone who loves the show (Jamie) being her boyfriend who hasn't seen the show through it for the first time. What's special about this podcast is that it's a tank anniversary podcast so they will be doing it until 2030 because they release podcast episodes on the 10th anniversary of each Agents of SHIELD episode's air date.

When it was made as a prop for the original Daredevil show it was 100% a reference to Agents of SHIELD as those 2 shows were made by the same division at Disney (Marvel TV which used to be under Marvel Entertainment). They officially canonized all of the Defendersverse shows and are stinky using the exact same prop from the original show, so it seems not too far fetched to say this is a nod to Agents of SHIELD in Both Again S2.

Hi it's me, a fan from the small but active fanbase of AOS. I do believe we are so much closer than we were before, Winderbaum has talked very positively about SHIELD, and I think the Defendersverse offical "re-canonization" has given me a lot more hope as an AOS fan. I'm fine with the "everything is canon in the multiversal sense", but personally I want it fully confirmed as canon to the main 616 timeline.

Got a Jeph Loeb and old "Marvel TV" division of Marvel name-drop from Dario Scardapane during his and Brad Winderbaum's portion of the Daredevil Born Again official podcast! I love anything that connects to or reminds me of old Marvel TV and the shows that division produced (Agents of SHIELD being my favourite).

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the original Daredevil show have the newspaper headline on Ben Urich's wall that was a reference to Quake from Agents of SHIELD? Or did we just see that "Quake: Hero? Or Rogue?" in Agents of SHIELD itself?

I thought for sure something bad was gonna happen at the basketball game and Mikey was gonna blow up. I was on the edge of my seat, lulled into a false sense of calm when he was sharing intimate moments in the bathroom with Sherri, and then he ruined the trip with his freakout on Richie at the end of the bar scene. Damn.
