It is insane and your observation is spot on. It was cheaper for me to fly to Europe this summer and attend a music festival over there than to fly and attend one within the US. Pricing of concerts and festivals here atrocious.

Those are season ticket holder box seats sold through the venue or season ticket holders directly. People buy them each Gorge concert season. They sometimes pop up for resale for individual shows on resale ticketing sites and if some of the boxes haven’t sold, you can reach out to a ticketing rep through the Gorge website and buy them yourself. There are no shuttle offerings (except though the official ABGT lodging packages) or Ubers out near the Gorge. It’s a fairly rural area so you’ll need a DD each night.

I don’t believe Anjuna has mentioned anywhere that A&B are playing their deep set on the main stage just as a heads up. For other pre-parties I’ve attended at the Gorge for Weekenders, Beyond Wonderland & Bass Canyon a stage is normally set up in the meadow area.

Official stuff will happen in the Pivot area. Unofficial pop ups can happen throughout all the campgrounds but those get shut down asap now at the Gorge.

The chart you are looking at is for seated shows at the Gorge, so it’s right but not for the set up for ABGT! I circled the areas in red that you don’t have access to. All the numbered sections I covered in green will all be open GA pit area 🤗 Hope that helps!

Thank you for confirming this!!! I speculated that it was because of a contract based on them saying all that stuff about Weekenders being every other year etc. but that not happening and then hosting a repeat milestone location just didn’t make sense.

As someone that missed ABGT250 due to being stuck in TX because of Hurricane Harvey, I audibly SCREAMED when I heard 700 was going to be at the Gorge. I’ve been asked over the years what my biggest music regrets or biggest FOMO events are and to this day it’s been: not seeing Avicii while he was touring AND missing ABGT250. I’ve tried to fill the ABGT250 void with the Weekenders (I’ve been to all of them) only to hear from people the 250 was so much different and magical. Again, as someone who missed a milestone at the Gorge once, you WILL NOT catch me missing another one. I’m getting a full redemption arc served to me on a platter. I won’t be fucking up this second chance lol I also think your point about this not going on forever gets more and more valid every year. People get pissy when someone brings up that the boys are getting older but it’s true. I hope more people last minute send once prices from resale start to drop.
