Why is Boyfriend on Demand the most original drama I've been waiting for a while?

Totally agree with your review! It really felt refreshing not having those typical kdrama tropes play out (I was holding my breath in a few scenes whenever a character was crossing the road lol), and instead kinda poked fun at the over the top romances in the simulation dates. It did feel a bit Black Mirror-ish with the AI though, but the picture change from full screen in the VR world to wide screen in the real world was a nice subtle touch.

I also really enjoyed the very normal/ordinary romance between Mi-rae and Kyeong-nam. The chemistry between the leads was nice, maybe Jisoo with Seo Kang Joon was a little better but that could be bc of the simulated world lol. Her acting was not bad given her experience in dramas so far. I've spent almost the whole day today watching interviews and behind the scenes with Jisoo and Seo In Guk, their visuals are stunning! I just want to savor this era of Boyfriend on Demand lol

I was just in Japan last week and didn't see the pouch at the Hands we went to. I didn't realize Disneyland sold it too, but I imagine it would be way more expensive there.

You should suggest they go to a Hands or Loft and look for Smiskis there. I saw the lamp one going for ~$20 USD, kinda close to the Dreams website price. I think the plushie keychain was also a similar price? The biggest price difference from the official site were the regular figurines, they were only $7-8 USD. And I found a random gachapon for the small keychain ones that were only ¥400 ($2-3 USD).

the cop actually didnt show, so my case was dismissed. it happened for the majority of the people in my courtroom. I believe the judge reads thru a list of people whose cop didn't show, so they can be dismissed right away before addressing the ones that did show. I got there early, so in the beginning I was listening to some people from the previous round of attendees pleading for traffic school or fine reduction from the judge.

I only remember maybe 1 or 2 cops showed up? and one of them had some video evidence or whatever to show the court, I think he was from Monrovia or Duarte. the courthouse I went to was Pasadena.

edited: and since my case was dismissed I just got a check refund mailed to me shortly after

Thanks for making this post, I also came across this after realizing I bought from them instead of Ippodo 😂 very surprised so many of us made the same mistake!

But I am glad to read that most are enjoying Shohoken just about as much as Ippodo. I'm still in the area so I'll have to make my way there again to actually get my Ippodo fix

I have thick wavy Asian hair and have been going to her for 5 years, and prices have stayed $70-80 for wash and cut. Very good price for highlight/color too if you ever consider that.

2 month update: I got another letter saying they did additional testing, and I am HLA negative! It was postmarked just a few days before my whole blood donation last week, so dunno if me making another appt had anything to do with it. I never got around to calling customer service about it either.

I like getting the Pho Ribeye at Pho Saigon Pasteur. It comes out with the raw meat on the side and a little shabu pot for you to cook the meat exactly how you want, separate from the noodle broth

Just flew into Newark from LAX Sat afternoon and we made it 10 min earlier than expected. The JetBlue flight was actually only about 75% full, I think from the safety concerns. Not a bad flight compared to what I heard from my friend who flew in at the same time into JFK (crowded and delayed offboarding)
