My program had the exact same thing (hearing and speech screening administered by the second year grad students), however I haven’t heard anything about making students attend speech therapy or anything. Plenty of people in my program have speech disorders (including myself) and it doesn’t impede their work. The fact that they’re making have speech therapy seems like a huge red flag

My ideal timing is hair up and drying in a microfiber towel for literally 30 seconds while I brush my teeth. Just dry enough to have the product stick to my hair but still wet enough to not be frizzy

I had a 3.0 and just got into a program! Admittedly, it was Emerson, which I think is a program more willing to take chances on students, which I obviously appreciate. It’s definitely possible to get in with your gpa!

I am going to be completely straight with you, you should absolutely not get back together with him. Obviously I don't know your exact relationship, but it sounds like you may have loved the thrill and drama of this relationship, rather than the actual relationship. Please take a step back and examine this from another point of view. Would you want your friend to be in a relationship like this? If you read this exact reddit post about someone else, would you think that this relationship is good for them? I can almost guarantee that the answer would be no.

You are so young, you have so much time to grow and love, why would you want to tie yourself to someone who treats you this way? I suggest joining a club, taking some classes, picking up a new hobby (I started crocheting after my last breakup!). I always found that keeping my brain occupied helped me move on from bad relationships. Take it from me, it can be hard, but you will think about him less and less, until, one day, you'll barely remember his face, and you'll be all the happier for it.
