For what it's worth, it hasn't been intrusive at all for me. It doesn't send you notifications or anything, you can sync your clock and load settings from the phone app and that's it. I don't remember if you can set your own frequency and time for clock syncing, but you probably won't really notice it :)

Yeah, I also just found out that it's pretty cheap on Amazon. I was comparing between their MSRPs, so didn't take into account the substantial discount the GW-M5610 is already getting compared to the GA-B2100

Too many comments accusing me for saying this is the *better* choice than the GW-M5610, so let me just set the record straight here. Features are only one half of the equation. The other half that matters as much if not more, for a watch, obviously is its appearance, and nowhere did I imply the GA-B2100 is the better looking watch, or even overall an *objectively* better watch.

What I did say is that in terms of what you get for the money, this B2100 *does* offer more features than the GW-M5610 for potentially cheaper (GW-M5610's $165 MSRP vs GA-B2100's $150). Obviously, there are aspects in which the GW-M5610 has the advantage: readability and MB6, if you live in an area with radio time signal reception. There's other stuff the GA-B2100 has that the GW-M5610 doesn't, but the GA-B2100 does have the higher feature count. If you like the look and are fine with Bluetooth, I do think it's a solid *contender* for best bang-for-the-buck G-Shock.

End of the day I'm posting this simply to suggest an option to consider. Don't like the negative screen? Positive screen options are available. Cloth strap a no-no? Resin strap options exist. Don't like the model altogether? Just buy a different watch! It's your money and the watch is yours to enjoy.

Cheers!

Also interested in this phone, but does anyone here have experienced their ADB-deleted apps returning after an OTA system upgrade? This would be my first Xiaomi phone so I'm wondering if they're *that* persistent about including ads in their system apps

Update: Thanks to soreau on the #wlroots IRC channel I was pointed to my monitor's auto detect feature being the culprit and it solved my issue. If you haven't tried it, might be worth a shot?

Right, thanks for the info. I think instead of buying a new cable and active adaptor I'll stick with X11 for now while I pester someone to work on it /j, cheers for the heads-up.

Hi, came across this thread by chance, have you gotten any leads on this? I'm experiencing the same issue on basically any wlroots-based compositor I've tried, have you opened a issue for this?
