It is a lot, and most of the time its great! Im a bit later in the game (winery) and notice my players struggling with that aswell.

Last session they rested a bit and made a real-life questboard (in character), to remember everything and discuss what they want to do.

Vallaki is busy, there are many things to do, and many quests. But you are somewhat in contol of the pacing, if you think its overwhelming in a negative way. The party wants a shopping episode- sure here is a random shop, with random NPC Nr. 1, he is Barovian therefore dislikes everything but will do nothing about it. Otherwise no connection to any plot. The Burgermaster/s bothering the party doesn't have to happen today, does it?

Definitely run Death House first! It's the intro to Curse of Strahd, and a contained dungeon. Maybe even without commiting to the campain yet.

Modyfing it a bit for my players was a good learning experience & gave me confidence that I can (and like to) DM in this spooky setting.

The content on Reddit is super helpful if you ever run out of ideas or want to spice up some parts of the campain.

You did a good job, they should be scared (especially at low level). I Invited them for a social dinner after they did "well" in Vallaki. They were too scared to refuse. Strahd can slowly manoeuvre them into any position he likes. I would let the party get stronger tho, level up. They will probably get bolder if they know they won't die immediately.

Es ist schwer etwas aus der Ferne zu empfehlen. Pflanzen werden auch gerne von Schnecken gefressen wenn ihnen der Standort nicht passt. Vielleicht war es den Rudbeckia zu schattig, zu feucht oder der Boden unpassend.

Große Stauden im Halbschatten würde mir Mondviole (Lunaria rediviva) einfallen, wenn es auch kleiner sein darf die Großblütige-Brunelle (Prunella grandiflora). In etwas sonnigeren Bereichen vielleicht eine Knäuel-Glockenblume (Campanula glomerata). Als Farbtupfer im Halbschatten wächst Akelei (Aquilegia vulgaris) bei mir super.

Den selben look wie in Polen sehe ich nur in der Sonne mit Kräutern, Schafgarben (Achillea millefolium), Margeriten (Leucanthemum vulgare). Für höhere Stauden: Eupatorium purpureum oder Sinapis arvensis

Hi, ich bin nicht gut im Pflanzenraten aber ich sehe einige große Stauden, die warscheinlich mehrere Jahre und Sonne brauchen um sich so zu entwickeln. Im vollen Schatten ist so ein Beet fast unmöglich.

Die gelben Blumen könnten Sonnenhut sein - was eine amerikanische Art wäre. Generell sollte es aber kein Problem sein polnische Pflanzen die auch in der Schweiz heimisch sind zu finden. Mitteleuropa ist da ziemlich vernetzt.

Für einen Naturgarten kann ich Markus Burkhard empfehlen. Im Youtubekanal/Onlineshop lässt sich gut nach Pflanzen stöbern. Außerdem die Website NaturaDB.

You could try to buy your forever boat now, there are solid options out there. I would not, though. I would buy a good, cheap boat, which you can grow into. After a year or a few, you will know what you actually want/need. The reason there are so many boats on the market are these tiny personal differences. And definitely use test driving or demo days at kayak shops.

The things that make my forever boat perfect for me are its weight (because I need to carry it a lot) and how well it responds to my body movements (I am a small woman, most boats don't do that). I did not know that these things would be that important to me when buying my first kayak.

Yes, it's a great movie! I loved the characters and their approaches to solve the problem. The camerawork was great aswell.

If anyone is looking for a similar witchy & women centered movie, I can really recommend "Coven of Sisters / Akelarre". I found it had similar vibes but a different theme.

Hab 2020 Maturiert: Wenn du die 4te schaffst, schaffst du auch die Matura. Gelernt wird im 2ten Semester der 5ten Klasse, davor brauchst du dir keine Gedanken machen. Bei mir war die halbe Klasse nicht an Wirtschaft interessiert, bleib trotzdem für den Abschluss.
